Mikkolan Ratsastuskoulu is a riding school in Vilppula that is licensed and supervised by the Equestrian Federation of Finland. The riding school offers riding lessons and camps for riders of various ages. The riding school has 12 trained teaching horses and ponies.
Riding lessons are organised in small groups, led by two qualified and experienced instructors. Private lessons and full boarding services for horses are also available. The riding school operates at this location five days a week, except in the summer months
For the summer, the company moves to its riding camp on the shore of Lake Jouttijärvi in Vilppula. This location has excellent facilities for riding. Mikkolan Ratsastuskoulu riding school’s camps have been popular for 27 years now. The advantages of the camps include qualified instruction, a comfortable setting in a rural environment and delicious home-cooked meals.
