Rantaravintola Isabella is located in the Vilppulankoski boat harbour, just downriver from the rapids. During the summer season, the restaurant hosts barbecue nights and other theme nights. In the evenings and on weekends, troubadours and other musicians take to the stage. The restaurant has many delicious options to choose from: Try a fast food meal or one of the restaurant’s gourmet creations.
This restaurant by the shore is easy to get to by walking, bicycle or boat. There is always room in the guest harbour. There are spots for motorhomes next to the restaurant with the necessary amenities. There is also a traffic park and outdoor play area for children near the restaurant. The ice cream kiosk at the traffic park has the same opening hours as the traffic park. If you enjoy fishing, you can try catching fish in the Vilppulankoski rapids just a few steps away. You might even catch a salmon to put on the grill. Fishing permits are available from the restaurant and the Vilppulankoski website (in Finnish only).
